Pedagogical skills training provided by Dr. Cristopher High (Linneus University) for KNAU’s academic staff  

During his visit, Dr. Christopher High got acquainted with the university’s base and held a meeting with the staff of the Department of International Cooperation and the Center for International Educational Programs, where they discussed the possibilities of implementing new educational and research projects and further development of academic exchange of teachers and students. A training session on “Improving Media Production with Smartphones and the Moodle Education Platform” was held for the teachers involved in the AgroDev project and the administration staff of the Institute of Information Systems and Distance Education.

Mr. High held an interesting guest lecture on the topic: “Research in the field of rural development, rural management and social development” for teachers and students of the 3rd year of the direction “Economics”, “Management” of the Faculty of Economics and Management, and the direction “Applied Informatics in Management” of the Institute of Information Systems and Distance Education.

During a meeting Dr. Christopher High discussed the main issues in the field of rural development, sustainable and environmentally sound  management with the researchers and participants of the project “AgroDev” KNAU: Dr. Tolobekova A.M., Dr. of agricultural sciences A. Asanaliev, Associate Professor N. Karaeva, Associate Professor I. Alykeev, senior lecturer S. Tarasova, senior lecturer E. Kaparova. Dr. High also held a meeting with lecrurers N. Ibraeva, S.Derkenbayeva on the modernization of the training module “Organization and management of agribusiness”, where some key issues were discussed, such as Geo-Indicator, which are necessary to improve the issues of marketing of Kyrgyz agricultural products for export.
