Within the framework of the AgroDev project, being implemented with the financial support of the European Commission Erasmus+ Programme Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I.Skryabin purchased equipment for a laboratory for determining the quality of milk and meat, as well as a portable soil analyzer for microbial biomass Polintest SKW500 for a laboratory for the study of agricultural resources in Central Asia.
In the laboratory for determining the quality of milk and meat students will be taught to provide the analysis of milk and meat: mass fraction of fat, protein, dry skimmed milk residue, density, including the content of somatic cells in milk, acidity, nitrate content, mass proportion of moisture in meat and meat products, etc. The results of the analysis will be used for research and training purposes in the future.
The portable analyser will provide an opportunity to conduct a professional analysis of soils for the content of macro- and microelements and determine the condition of the soil by indicators of pH and EC – soil electrical conductivity, according to which soil salinity is pre-determined in the field, which is convenient for farmers in the field and accelerate the receipt field data on indicators of soil condition.
