On October 5-6, 2023, the international forum ” The influence of higher education institutions on the development of the agricultural sector in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan” was held in Bishkek within the framework of the AgroDev project. The forum was attended by almost 90 participants from eight countries.
Within the framework of the forum, students of four Central Asia universities participated with their scientific work. 12 students from the Republic of Uzbekistan and Republic of Kyrgyzstan presented posters on the research they have done in the thematic covered by the project. The students’ research work was supervised by academic staff from CA universities and advised by academic staff from the European universities involved in the project. The research works on pre-defined criteria were evaluated by members of the jury formed on the basis of the participants of the AgroDev project: academic staff of European universities, Hilfswerk International and enterprises of Kyrgyzstan. All participants received certificates. Four of the best posters were awarded prizes.
According to the evaluation results, Muzaffar Mukhtaraliyev, a third-year student of Tashkent State Agrarian University from Uzbekistan, was awarded the first prize for his scientific work “Improvement of cherry freezing technology”.

The 2nd place was won Aizhan Zhekshenova fourth-year student of Naryn State University named after S.Naamatov from Kyrgyzstan for her scientific work “TOO tea
Third place was won Balyshbek uulu Bektur fourth-year student of Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I.Skryabin from Kyrgyzstan for his scientific work “Production of safe fish products”.
Fourth place was won Asel Joldoshbekova third-year student of Naryn State University named after S.Naamatov from Kyrgyzstan for her scientific work “Yo curut”.
All winners were awarded with valuable prizes.
