With the financial support of the project AgroDev the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics (SBTSUE) and the Tashkent State Agrarian University (TSAU) have acquired modern laboratory equipment and literature on special subjects.

The project aims to develop the content of higher education in order to support  agricultural and food production sectors of sustainable production of high-quality agri-food products and introduction of the international standard Global G.A.P. The purchased equipment will create an opportunity to teach students, how to ensure food product quality control at all stages of its production and food safety quality determination.

The acquired equipment will be used for creation of knowledge and methods enabling  agricultural sector’s stakeholders to determine the quality indicators of livestock and crop production: milk and dairy products; analysis of fruits, vegetables and products of their processing; Analysis of fish and fish products, as well to provide soil and water analysis
